We can’t talk about June without talking about the TREC of the SHAE. Third of the name, we organised it at the local riding centre in Bex, next to the Rhône river, with a local society of riders and horse enthusiasts, the SHAE (Société Hippique d’Aigle et Environ). This edition took part on 1 day, 2 parts, 3 levels (from beginner to elite) and counted for the selection of the Swiss TREC team to the 2018 European and World Championships.
Under a blistering sun, 80 riders from all over French-speaking Switzerland came to participate, a record! 14 riders were students, taking part with Bella, Merlin, their own horses or the riding school horses, with great results! For many it was their first experience in TREC.
In 2019, JP and Movana will be having a well-deserved break from organising TRECs. Who knows, maybe see you in 2020?
