The TREC season started in April for Lutin and Bella, but Merlin’s first TREC outing was in Mai, at the TREC de Bavois, in the beginner category with Alexandra. A horse who showed lots of potential; very at ease on the map reading course (POR), but needing a good rider for the MA and PTV due, in part, to his very strong character. Despite losing points for taking too much time to complete the PTV, the obstacles were tackled calmly and serenely with a horse attentive to his rider. Well done Merlin and Alexandra!
At the end of the month, the ASOFY (Asso Socio Culturelle Fully) organised its annual event – Fully Bouge – a festival for kids and adults alike. We were there with Benjy and Bijoux, offering pony rides to very eager and happy children! Both ponies always have a huge success and are eagerly awaited year after year.
